Stray Kids (스트레이 키즈) is a South Korean boy group formed under JYP Entertainment. They originally debuted as a nine-member group on March 25, 2018, with the track “District 9” from their mini album “I am NOT.” The current members include Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N. The group’s name, “Stray Kids,” was chosen by the members themselves and initially represented a lost child chasing dreams. Their lightstick is called “Nachimbong,” which is a play on the Korean words for “Compass” and “Rod.” Stray Kids members actively participate in creating their songs, emphasizing self-composition and genuine expression. Notably, Woojin left the group in 2019, and Hyunjin went on hiatus in 2021 due to a school bullying scandal. Despite challenges, Stray Kids has achieved significant milestones, including reaching the top spot on the Billboard 200 chart with their album “ODDINARY” in 2022.
